LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY

BE INFORMED, GET INVOLVED.

REIA Las Vegas encourages our members to become involved in public life, to become knowledgeable about issues impacting their businesses and the real estate market, and to support initiatives that promote and ensure a healthy and sustainable real estate market.

REIA Las Vegas is dedicated to keeping our members informed about new and proposed laws in NV while fighting to protect the rights of real estate investors. Because policies at the federal, state and municipality level change so often, it is nearly impossible for real estate investors to keep abreast of the new laws. That's why membership in REIA Las Vegas is so important. We keep you up to date on changes that you need to be aware of.

As a member of REIA Las Vegas you are also a member of the National Real Estate Investors Association and have the advantage of being connected to their Legislative Program as well.

Use the National REIA Legislative Action Center through the National REIA website as a gateway to opportunities to work with elected officials who are making decisions that have a huge impact on the bottom line of real estate investors and their customers.

Working with the government through REIA Las Vegas and National REIA, you will become part of a much stronger team that can communicate your concerns more effectively than any single individual. We need your input and involvement to build a strong grassroots presence!

  • Best State Capitals to Live In
For the most part, every state capital has a beautiful statehouse and a requisite garden of government growing nearby (which one could argue requires constant pruning).  However, not all state capitals are places that draw residents or are places, for that matter, where you’d want to live.
